Q&A

Why did you want to be on BIG BROTHER?
There are a number of reasons, but I think the primary reason would be the challenge.

What strengths do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
Too many to list! I think humor and beauty would be the top two.

What weaknesses do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
I tend to act like a five-year-old child when I don't get my way. I'm really spoiled.

What comfort item from home will you miss the most?
My Australian silky terrier. His name is Sir Oliver Buckingham (Buckie). He is like my child. I love him more than anything on the planet!

What type of news from the outside world will you miss the most?
Gossip!

Do you tend to perform better in physical or mental competitions?
I think I perform better in mental competitions.

How do you plan to win BIG BROTHER?
By being my wonderful self and getting everyone else kicked out first!

What is your biggest fear as you begin BIG BROTHER?
Isolation. It will be difficult not seeing my friends, family and, of course, Buckie. I also fear living out of one suitcase for three months.

What is your motto?
I never loved another person the way I loved myself. (Mae West)

PARTING WORDS 1

What was the most difficult aspect of being on BIG BROTHER?
Learning to handle people coming from entirely different backgrounds, with an entirely different set of values. That was the most difficult for me. In fact, I didn't really reach that point until the very end.

Did you play the game as you hoped you would, strategy-wise?
In all honesty, the word "strategy" is used so much, and it's really hard to go in and have this strict strategy, because the other people in the House really determine so many different things about how you play. So, once I got in there, it was all about just enjoying myself. And I did that.

What did you learn about yourself that surprised you?
I never saw myself as putting up all these shields that I put up. Everyone else pointed out so many things to me that I was willing to accept. Usually, when people tell me things about myself, I dismiss it, because I know myself better than anyone. But living in a house with people who are with you 24 hours a day, they see who you are. You can't hide. So learning about myself was the incredible part of the journey. I've learned that I don't trust anybody. I kind of knew that already, but I didn't realize how it affected me. I learned that I really don't pay attention to pain that I inflict on other people. I don't think I'll ever be quite as hateful or as selfish. I'll still be selfish--I can't help that--but I'll never be as selfish or as hateful as I've been in the past. I really think this was a major part of my growing up experience.

What personality trait is most important for winning this game?
It's not being honest with others. It's being able to be that person that everyone wants to open up to, everyone wants to tell their story to, everyone wants to tell their deep, dark secrets to. And I think Danielle is that person. I really hope she wins.

Which HouseGuest was the greatest threat to you, and why?
I didn't really look at anyone as being a threat. It was obvious that Chiara and I didn't really get along, but I didn't really look at her as any kind of threat. I just really didn't approve of a lot of things that she said and did.

What will the other HouseGuests remember you for?
Saying the number ten, cheese, Buckie and Hadley. Hadley is one of my best friends. One day in the House, we were throwing out stories, and I said, "Hadley and I…" and Roddy just took it. He said Hadley this, and Hadley that, and just went on and on with it. It stuck, and Hadley is the most common name used in that House, other than Mewitt.

What will BIG BROTHER fans remember you for?
I hope BIG BROTHER fans will remember me for who I am, but I'm afraid they'll remember me for negative things, especially because of the fights that everyone had. There was always this alcohol issue. I am not some raving lush lunatic. The whole deal was, if you'd taken cheese away from me…! I'm just used to having what I want when I want it. So it turned into a bigger deal than it was. If there's a limit on something, I want as much as I can get. It scared me the whole time. I thought, "Oh, God, I'm painted as the House lush." It really upset me.

Do you plan to keep in touch with any of the other HouseGuests after the show?
I plan to keep in touch with several of the HouseGuests after the show. Marcellas, obviously, Jason, Danielle, Josh, Roddy, Gerry. If I do ever go to New York, I will call Chiara and we will hang out. I hope to stay in touch with everybody, really. At the beginning, I didn't think I'd say that, but I really mean it now.

Who do you want to win, and why?
I want Danielle to win. She deserves it; she's the strongest, greatest woman I've ever met. She's been through so much, and she's so noble, and she just wants to buy a house. I think that's the sweetest thing, and the best use for that money.

Who do you think will win, and why?
I think Danielle will win, I really do. She's very much loved in the House.

What advice would you give to future BIG BROTHER HouseGuests?
Realize when you audition for this show, that if you make it and you're one of the HouseGuests, there's nothing you can hide. It will all come out in the wash. No matter how hard you try, no matter how you walk in there and say, "I'm not gonna tell this, I'm not gonna tell that, I won't approach this subject, I won't join in these conversations, you will. There will come a time that you will break and it will all come out.

If you could have any kind of cheese in the world, what kind would it be?
Colby! Lots of it!

PARTING WORDS 2

If you could do BIG BROTHER over again, what would you do differently?
I think I would have left libations out of my stay in the BIG BROTHER House. It was magnified; it was escalated; it was turned into a whole huge ordeal when it really wasn't.

Would you have had a different strategy?
No. I can't even say that I had a strategy. That sounds so horrible, but really, when I went into the House, it was about the experience for me. I just wanted to enjoy it. I wanted to do something new and fun and exciting and something that not everyone gets a chance to do. I definitely accomplished that goal.

Since you've been out of the House, what is the most surprising thing you've heard?
My family and friends' reactions to certain HouseGuests. I was surprised about a lot of things. I watched some of the tapes last night, and I was even more surprised. The most shocking things that I've heard were things that came out of the HouseGuests' mouths about me. I guess that's part of it, and I know I said some pretty bad things, so I should have expected to have some pretty bad things said about me as well. But people smile in your face and stab you in the back at the same time.

Who would you like to see win, and why?
I would like to see Jason win. I am behind him 150 percent. I want Jason to win.

Who do you think will win?
I'm afraid that Danielle will win, but she won't win with the help of me. She's not getting my vote, after seeing some of her Diary Room sessions. She told me that that would happen with a lot of people, that they would see her Diary Room sessions and they wouldn't want to vote for her. I'm one of those people.

Which HouseGuests, if any, are you looking forward to talking with and seeing now that you're out of the House?
A couple of people. I want to talk to Josh. I never had a problem with Josh; he and I laughed a lot. I do want to talk to Marcellas: I think we have quite a bit to discuss. And I want to talk to Jason, and see Jason.

What are you going to do once BIG BROTHER 3 is over?
I'm just going to take a break for a month, at least, just kind of sit back and breathe. It has been a long, strange trip, and I think I need some time to relax and think about things and sort through it all and watch the tapes and clear my head, and then I'll just go from there. I'm just going to take it one day at a time and cross or burn bridges as I come to them.

What was your favorite moment in the BIG BROTHER House?
When I came back in; walking back in, being the first participant on any reality show ever to leave and then come back. That was such a huge moment for me.

What was your least favorite moment in the BIG BROTHER House?
The entire week that Roddy and I were on the block. That was a very emotional week for me because of the Veto and for all the reasons that have been so plainly shown during the show that week. That was just a very unpleasant week for me.

Chiara Berti

Q&A

Why did you want to be on BIG BROTHER?
The experience is something you could never pass up. Whether a positive or negative, I wanted to take the plunge. I just hope I walk away with the money.

What strengths do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
There is definitely a competitive edge to me, but more importantly, a mysterious side. I don't think a lot of people will be able to figure me out.

What weaknesses do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
I have a tough time cheating or lying my way through things. If the game gets nasty, I might not be up for the challenge. I play fair, which usually works in my favor.

What comfort item from home will you miss the most?
I will definitely miss my bed and my own pillow. These are two things that I just won't be able to forget as I am bunking up.

What type of news from the outside world will you miss the most?
Not knowing what's going on with my own friends is news enough for me. That news is more entertaining than anything else.

Do you tend to perform better in physical or mental competitions?
I guess it really depends on the competition. I would consider myself pretty athletic, although the sports I tend to participate in and watch have a lot of mental strength in them.

How do you plan to win BIG BROTHER?
I really want to play fair. I don't want to form nor join an alliance. I really want to make sure I don't pick favorites or quickly trust anyone. I don't think anyone in that house is my friend, so I will keep my head about me, play to win, but be honest.

What is your biggest fear as you begin BIG BROTHER?
The exposure is something I am definitely not used to. Although I am pretty open about stuff, I fear what might get out.

What is your motto?
Everything happens for a reason.

PARTING WORDS

What was the most difficult aspect of being on BIG BROTHER?
Not being able to speak to family and friends at times when you feel really lonely. It was really difficult not to be able to share a lot of things, or when you felt lonely, not to be able to look at someone. It's a very vulnerable feeling at times, because you're in there and there's no escaping. In every room you go in, you're being watched. It's difficult, but you get used to it.

Did you play the game as you hoped you would, strategy-wise?
It's very hard to have a strategy when you never know what they're going to throw at you. Strategy is only as good as the game you think you're playing. If you don't really know what the game is, and you don't know what they're going to throw at you, then it's really hard to form a strategy. I made it halfway, so maybe my strategy was good. Basically, I wanted this experience to be one that I looked at and was happy with. I had a one-in-twelve chance of winning the money, so I might as well make it as fun as possible. Ultimately, my strategy was to get along with everyone the best I can and make friends, and see where it got me. It got me pretty far, I'd say. The one person I didn't make friends with is the one person who got me out, and I feel fine with that, because at the end of the day, no one that I felt I was close to nominated me or evicted me.

What personality trait is most important for winning this game?
To win the game, you really have to watch yourself. Everything you say could be being manipulated and judged by the person you're speaking to because of the game. So, while I could be having a conversation about meatloaf with someone, they're interpreting it: "Why is she bringing this up? Is the meat part of the game? Does she loaf the meat…the meat gets loafed…" Everything is getting manipulated and moved around, and you have no idea how they really feel about it. I spoke a lot, and I was not shy in a lot of the things I said. Ultimately, I don't think it ever hurt me; it never really got me out of the House. The most important thing is to be yourself, and watch what you say.

Knowing what you know now, whom should you have formed an alliance with?
If the only person I needed to get closer to was Amy, I tried my hardest. But the only person I could not make a true connection with was Amy.

Which HouseGuest was the greatest threat to you, and why?
Amy, but only when she returned.

Besides Roddy, which HouseGuest would you most like to spend the night with in the HoH room?
Bring on the J-Bird! I did spend the night in the HoH room with Jason and Roddy. I made Yum-Yum [Jason] come in and we all ate the Ben & Jerry's ice cream together. Those two were my two closest boys, and I loved having them around.

What was your favorite moment in the BIG BROTHER House?
I loved when Marcellas came out of his shell. Roddy and I were very fortunate to hear it for the first time, and to see Marcellas be Marcellas. Everyone knows and loves him now, no one knew him then. Another amazing moment was the beauty pageant, where the boys had to make their own bathing suits, and we used peanut butter to make ours.

Who would you like to see win, and why?
I want Roddy to win, for obvious reasons.

Who do you think will win, and why?
Danielle. I don't know if I feel like she deserves it the most, or that she needs the money the most. For the rest of us, yeah, who doesn't want half a million dollars? But this is a woman who has done so much and has gone through so much, and for her to walk away with that money would make me so happy.

What advice would you give to future BIG BROTHER HouseGuests?
It's taxing on you; there are times when you're tired. If you truly want to go on the show, don't make it so much about the game. The game is there; it exists; you're going to play it whether you want to or not, because you have to. Just be yourself and enjoy your time. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, something you can take with you for the rest of your life. You should want to win the money, of course, but remember: You have a one-in-twelve chance, so you might as well make it the best experience of your life. Make friends. Make connections. Have a ball! It doesn't have to be vindictive; it doesn't have to be mean; it doesn't have to be cruel.

Q&A

Why did you want to be on BIG BROTHER?
I had my first child at 16. I was married and pregnant with my second child by 20. Since then, my youth and my life have been dedicated to my family. I have no Danielle time. This is my opportunity to be a teenager again.

What strengths do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
I am always thinking ahead. I'm a natural leader.

What weaknesses do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
I'm a leader, not a follower. I am such an extrovert, people naturally like me as a person. I don't want to be too liked.

What comfort item from home will you miss the most?
I'll miss TV. I'll miss my tacky pink robe (I've had it so long). I'll miss movies (I'm a movie junkie).

What type of news from the outside world will you miss the most?
Sports, preseason football. Who got traded? What's going on?

Do you tend to perform better in physical or mental competitions?
Most women would state mental. They expect men to dominate in the physical competition. Me? I'm all physical. All the men would want me on their team. Don't let my good looks fool you. I can get down and dirty with the men.

How do you plan to win BIG BROTHER?
As innocent as a dove and sly as a snake. People will underestimate me. I will be fake as my implants. As soon as I step foot in the house, the game is on! Everyone there is my enemy. I trust no one but God.

What is your biggest fear as you begin BIG BROTHER?
Losing! I have no fear about the situation. I'm just going to win!

What is your motto?
It could be worse.

Eric Ouellette

Q&A

Why did you want to be on BIG BROTHER?
I want the $! I also am in need of large quantities of this $!

What strengths do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
People have a good time while in my presence. I can also put on many different "masks," depending on what I am trying to accomplish.

What weaknesses do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
I sometimes talk too much, revealing things I might not want to reveal. I also act very strange while sleeping on a regular basis (i.e. walking and talking).

What comfort item from home will you miss the most?
My own bed. It knows me and I know it. Very comfortable.

What type of news from the outside world will you miss the most?
Breaking news about the anti-terrorism war.

Do you tend to perform better in physical or mental competitions?
Physical, but I'm no slouch in the mental arena.

How do you plan to win BIG BROTHER?
Becoming friends with everyone, making them feel good about themselves when I'm around. I have to pick everyone's minds, finding out their concerns and weaknesses and use this info to my advantage.

What is your biggest fear as you begin BIG BROTHER?
Disclosing my strategies in my sleep.

What is your motto?
You could die tomorrow, so why not be happy today?

PARTING WORDS

What was the most difficult aspect of being on BIG BROTHER?
The most difficult aspect would probably be the lack of a clock: everyday life is timeless. You have to know when you should sleep, when you should wake up, when you should take a nap, when you should eat, when you should shower. It's tough to organize your day, especially when you really don't have anything to do. The high point in most of our days was, "Well, should we sunbathe right now, or should we prepare dinner? Should I nap now, or later?

Did you play the game as you hoped you would, strategy-wise?
Yes, I think I played a clean game. There was some minor backstabbing, but I would never do that to somebody that I didn't feel deserved it. I don't think all 12 people in the House were good-natured, and that that's going to come back to haunt them. That makes me feel a little better.

What did you learn about yourself that surprised you?
I learned that making friends and really trying to get to know people for who they are is a lot more important than you'd think. Listen when people talk, because when you don't, it rubs people the wrong way. It says a lot about you when you take the time to listen when people want to talk.

What personality trait is most important for winning this game?
Patience. You have to be patient about having idle days, because there are days when you're not doing anything. You have to keep yourself busy. You can't complain; you can't bitch, because no one's going to help you. If you're going to be voted out of this game, you don't want to beat yourself. You want someone to have the edge on you, and you lost because they just had it that day, and you didn't.

Which HouseGuest was the greatest threat to you, and why?
Jason. He doesn't even know he's a threat. He's a super kid: he's down-to-earth; he's wholesome; he's honest; he's trustworthy. People enjoy being around him; he listens when you talk; he appreciates what you say. If Jason's in the finals, he beats pretty much everybody, because of the game he's played. That's what's important: you can get to the end, but you're guaranteeing yourself second place if you've backstabbed everybody and been a negative, nasty type person.

What will the other HouseGuests remember you for?
For being the typical bachelor-type guy: stuffing my face whenever I want to, sharing some bodily noises at interesting times, lifting weights, just being shocking. There's really nothing that I won't do if I'm persuaded. I'm not a shy person, so they're going to know me as the outgoing person who doesn't really care about what people think.

What will BIG BROTHER fans remember you for?
Probably as the guy that took care of Lisa's foot, the compassionate person that cares about people's well-being (again, those people that deserve it, of course). I was always the type of person who made sure that people were being safe in the House, even though it wasn't really my job there.

Do you plan to keep in touch with any of the other HouseGuests after the show?
I definitely plan to keep in touch with Lisa, and Roddy, definitely: he talked so much about Alaska that we've already got a trip planned. But we're going to meet in Vegas first. I'm sure I'm going to spend some time with Chiara on the outside. Marcellas: he's so close to New York City. Jason: he'll be in New York City too. Danielle too: she's a sweetheart. There really aren't too many people that I wouldn't care to ever see again. If there were two, Gerry would be one and Josh would be the other: they're not people that I would normally give the time of day on the outside.

What was Josh's downfall, for you?
Josh's problem is that he could not stop playing the game. He made alliances with everybody in the House, which meant that nothing you could say was trustworthy. Whatever promise he made with you, he made with everybody else, which means it's not a promise. He's been caught in several lies. I also think that he kind of made a mockery of the show when he didn't take the time to get dressed or wake up for a show, or acted like a child during the live show. I don't think the majority of the House appreciated things like that.

Who do you want to win, and why?
I want Lisa to win, for obvious reasons.

Who do you think will win, and why?
I think it would be between Marcellas and Jason. Marcellas wasn't a fan favorite or a House favorite the first week, but he has shown his true colors and he truly is a nice guy and a genuine person, and he's humble too. And that's exactly how Jason is. If it's one against the other, it's going to be a tough call.

If you are the one who returns to the House, what will your first order of business be?
To refamiliarize myself with everybody, which won't be hard, but it's gonna be such pandemonium when I walk back in there. We've got time to talk about strategy later. I've got to make sure I get all my hellos in. I know who the Head of Household is this week, and I know that one of the negative persons in my book, Josh or Gerry, is going to be gone. That would have been the work I would have done anyway, so I'm hoping it's someone that I would have gotten rid of, and that I can come back in and have a little more of an advantage in the House.

What advice would you give to future BIG BROTHER HouseGuests?
Be yourself. It's such a cliché, but it goes a long way. The minute you compromise that, people will label you as a not-so-nice person. You'll never win the game; you never enjoy yourself either. Be true to yourself, and be ready for anything. You have to be patient with the game. The minute you let the game get the best of you, other people will say, "This person needs to go, not because we want them to go, but the game is getting the best of them and they need to go."

Q&A

Why did you want to be on BIG BROTHER?
Well, obviously, to win the money, but also it seems like an intriguing challenge, a test of my endurance and will. It will also be a great break from teaching summer school.

What strengths do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
I'm very personable, used to dealing with people and their different issues. Part of my job teaching is often getting students (and adults) to do things they don't want to. I'm very good at getting people to see things my way without them realizing it. I use humor as a tool to put people at ease--a useful tool, not a weapon.

What weaknesses do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
Maybe I'm too trusting of people's motives. I also do not suffer fools lightly, I like to speak my mind and I am opinionated. I'll need to watch being overbearing.

What comfort item from home will you miss the most?
I'll miss my tools and the time I spend fixing things around the house and doing projects with my wife.

What type of news from the outside world will you miss the most?
I'm an avid sports fan and an ardent follower of America's greatest sport, politics.

Do you tend to perform better in physical or mental competitions?
Actually, I'm pretty good at both. I'm very strong, but not flexible, even though I'm pretty agile for a big man. I have the odd capacity to remember lots of facts and trivia, because I'm curious.

How do you plan to win BIG BROTHER?
I plan to learn all I can about my fellow HouseGuests, both their strengths and weaknesses, and use my personable nature to disarm them. I intend to be, or to remind them of, the father and teacher they always wanted to have. I want them to feel safe with me and to be the last one they'd want to be rid of.

What is your biggest fear as you begin BIG BROTHER?
Being a bad example for students.

What is your motto?
Never play poker with a man named Doc.

PARTING WORDS

What was the most difficult aspect of being on BIG BROTHER?
A couple of things: the complete lack of mental stimulation and the fact that I was at least 20 years older than the next oldest HouseGuest. The generation gap was tough to break through at times.

Did you play the game as you hoped you would, strategy-wise?
Pretty much. I went in there with the expectation that I would be a target early on because of my age. The best thing to do was just to be myself as much as possible. It's ironic that some people were suspicious of that, but that's just who I am, and I'm not going to change that. Early on in the game, I realized that permanent alliances would never work. I tried my best to get along with everybody the whole time I was there; that was my strategy. It actually paid off pretty well, because I lasted a lot longer.

What personality trait is most important for winning this game?
Flexibility, being able to sense mood shifts and power shifts. A sense of who you can "trust" more than someone else, and when that changes. That's very difficult to figure out, because despite the proximity, it is easy for people to get off by themselves and hatch plots.

At one point, Roddy said that this is a game about honesty and decency. How would you respond to that?
In some ways, Roddy and I would like it to be a game about honesty and decency, or game-play like a chess match, but it's not. It's all about deceit and duplicity and backstabbing and false friends. Moves I made in the game were like chess moves, and I had hoped the game would be played that way. Had it been, I probably could have won. Because it's not, I'm talking to you right now!

Knowing what you know now, what would you have done differently?
The first night, I would not have been so eager to jump into the immediate plot to get rid of Marcellas. I probably would have been a little more circumspect; I was a little too eager. That's what I was angry with myself about. That was the demon I talked about when I exercised the Veto. I was angry with myself for being so desperate to be included in an alliance that I was willing to sacrifice my principles, and I didn't want to do that.

Which of the alliances is strongest, and why?
Based on what I know, the strongest alliance is Marcellas and Amy. At this point, an alliance of two is awfully strong, and because Marcellas is Head of Household right now, he can do some major damage. I would suspect that he would go after Roddy and Lisa. He told me he didn't harbor any resentment against that cartel, but they're the last two left. All the rest of us are gone. I'm personally hopeful that Jason hangs in there. He's the only other person in the House with a shred of integrity.

Which HouseGuest was the greatest threat to you, and why?
My conversion from the cartel started about a day and a half into the game, when I could see Josh going around talking to everybody. The lack of subtlety really did him in. Had he been more subtle, he might have pulled it off. I didn't find him as convincing a liar as other people seemed to be. And I though Eric was a threat to me. He's a great guy, but in terms of strategy, that's why I put him out. In a House like that, there's not enough room for alpha male types. Now, there probably should be, because if Roddy ends up going, there is no person that I would call a typical alpha male.

What was your favorite moment in the BIG BROTHER House?
Marcellas choking back the chicken liver. That was a magnificent display of willpower. Sheryl Crow was a big moment, because I'm a big fan. The fact that she obviously is a fan of the show & knew who I was is really cool.

Who would you like to see win, and why?
For the longest time, I wanted to see Danielle win, because she puts out the case about needing the money. But I'm not so sure now, because there's a little bit too much desperation about it. In terms of the most personal integrity, I'd like to see Jason win.

Who do you think will win?
Danielle. But I wouldn't rule out Marcellas and Amy, at least getting to the final two. It's hard to predict.

What advice would you give to future BIG BROTHER HouseGuests?
Memorize a lot of stuff: knowledge to bring with you into the House, things to entertain yourself and others. Mental preparation is more important than physical preparation.

Q&A

Why did you want to be on BIG BROTHER?
To win the money! Plus, I'm a huge BIG BROTHER fan and wanted to be on the show.

What strengths do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
My easygoing personality and the ability to adjust quickly to new situations and new people.

What weaknesses do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
I am too nice. I might get attached to someone and not want to vote them out.

What comfort item from home will you miss the most?
Computer and internet--it provides entertainment and contact with friends.

What type of news from the outside world will you miss the most?
Anything about my family--not knowing what is going on in their lives.

Do you tend to perform better in physical or mental competitions?
I feel like I am about average in both areas. I hope that I will do well in mental competitions.

How do you plan to win BIG BROTHER?
Build relationships with all players, align myself with two key people, stay in the game at all times, and adjust to any changes thrown my way.

What is your biggest fear as you begin BIG BROTHER?
That I will be able to keep my integrity as I play the game.

What is your motto?
There are only two things that can hinder your dreams: money and your imagination. If the second is great enough, the first will never be a problem.

PARTING WORDS

What was the most difficult aspect of being on BIG BROTHER?
Going into the show, I thought it would be the fact that there were cameras and microphones everywhere. But after that wore off, the most difficult aspect in the game was finding someone to align myself with, and that was Danielle, then keeping our alliance as behind-the-scenes and as quiet as we possibly could. We were very successful at keeping it quiet. I'm learning now that Lisa might have had some thoughts and ideas about the alliance early on. If that was the case, it was brilliant that she aligned herself with us, and took it to the end: better player than I was!

Did you play the game as you hoped you would, strategy-wise?
I did. I wanted to walk out of the House and feel comfortable, confident and happy about how I played the game. Two or three weeks into it, I thought, "it's about to get nasty, and I might have to do some dirty stuff." I really was in that moment feeling like I'm going to walk out of the House and be disappointed in the way I played the game. But I didn't feel like I ever had to compromise on things. At times, I had to hold my cards close and never really let people into what I was doing, but I walked out of there and felt good about how I played the game. Danielle and Lisa were obviously better players: they're there! But I'm not disappointed at all. As a matter of fact, I may be saved from a very tough night on Wednesday for Lisa and Danielle. So I feel like I'm in a good place.

What personality trait is most important for winning this game?
I don't know if one personality trait will help you. There are several things you need. I think charisma is important. I think the ability to listen carefully and know when to speak is important. And then, just having a good time is important in the game. I think all of those things really help you out.

Knowing what you know now, would you have formed a different alliance than the one you had with Danielle?
That's a great question, but I don't think I would have, because when I came into the game, I was looking for someone like Danielle to align myself with. Even though it looks now like people had a problem with the way Danielle played the game, her Diary Room sessions maybe becoming a little more personal vent than game, I don't at all regret it, or wish that I had done something differently. I think that it was a smart move, and I think that's what took me to the Final Three, and to become the last man standing.

Besides your own alliance with Danielle, which alliance would you say was the strongest?
The alliance that I had with Danielle was probably the strongest in the House: it's the one that lasted from Week One to the very last week, 96 hours from the finale. Other than that, what Roddy had with Chiara, Eric and Lisa, that couples alliance, was very strong. Had Eric not gone that week, Lisa would have been evicted, and someone else would have moved into that fourth position. It would have been maybe Josh, maybe Gerry; it could have been someone else, maybe even Marcellas, depending on how that worked out. That foursome could have done amazing things and really been there and taken it to the Final Four. So right now, Danielle and Lisa would probably not be in the House. I think the couples alliance was a brilliant move.

Which HouseGuest was the greatest threat to you, and why?
Now, having left the House, starting to look at some episodes, I think maybe Lisa was a greater threat that I ever gave her credit for. In the House, I felt it was probably Roddy, only because he was so charismatic; he had lots of people who were connected to him. He was just great in everything that he did, whether it was game-play, or the deals, or just developing friendships. People would want to work with him. I thought his game was brilliant.

Q&A

Why did you want to be on BIG BROTHER?
So I could win, take a few years off work and just play golf.

What strengths do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
Intelligence, wit, ruthlessness, creativity.

What weaknesses do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
Overbearing, argumentative, stubborn.

What comfort item from home will you miss the most?
My cat--he's very comforting.

What type of news from the outside world will you miss the most?
Sports, baby, sports!

Do you tend to perform better in physical or mental competitions?
Probably mental.

How do you plan to win BIG BROTHER?
I plan on causing a gastrointestinal virus and spreading it to the other members.

What is your biggest fear as you begin BIG BROTHER?
I'm gonna get kicked off first week.

What is your motto?
Don't really work, but get paid for it.

PARTING WORDS

What was the most difficult aspect of being on BIG BROTHER?
It was definitely keeping my planned personality alive and working on the show. It was not easy to be as mean, as mean-spirited, as vindictive and as trouble-making as I was on the show. It was very, very difficult to do all that, and to keep it up was extremely taxing.

Did you play the game as you hoped you would, strategy-wise?
Yes. I had so much strategy going into the game, but part of it is: don't come in with one set idea. Be able to branch out. I had to judge by what I had out there, by what was presented to me. That shaped a lot of my strategy. I did play the game the way I should have; I clearly did the right things. Not winning doesn't prove that I didn't do it right.

Knowing what you know now, whom should you have formed an alliance with?
I would have pulled back a little bit more from Chiara. I took Roddy's word that she thought more highly of me than she obviously did. Other than that, I think I made the right choices and the right alliances on a weekly basis. I did the best I could with what I had to work with.

Which of your alliances is strongest, and why?
Clearly, mine and Roddy's was the strongest. I know in my heart that he would have chosen me for more than just pure strategy reasons. He would have kept his word and had me with him until the end.

Which HouseGuest was the greatest threat to you, and why?
Lisa was always a threat to me; I never felt that she was in my corner. I felt that her having the exact opposite personality to me was going to hurt one of us. I never really wanted her in the House. She was one of the original Six, and I was willing to keep her around and not break my word on that. But she clearly would have been the first one that I got rid of, given the opportunity, once we were down to six.

Which HouseGuest would you most like to spend the night with in the HoH room?
I probably would have wanted to spend the night with Roddy: talking, playing chess, hanging out. We did it outside the HoH room many times all night. I don't see why anything would have changed inside the room.

What was your favorite moment in the BIG BROTHER House?
My favorite moment really might have been the night Roddy and Jason and I were up all night eating ice cream, making sundaes, laughing it up. It was the most genuine fun I've had in…I can't even remember how many years. It was so pure, to have no intoxications in any way; it was on a complete, real friendship level.

Who do you want to win, and why?
Without a doubt, I want Roddy to win this competition. I think he deserves to; I think he's played the game the best (besides myself!), in a very honorable way. He's done enough for himself and for other people, so I feel he deserves to win BIG BROTHER 3, hands down.

Who do you think will win, and why?
I think Danielle will win BIG BROTHER 3, hands down. I think she has positioned herself with a little luck, a little moxie, a little bit of her own doing. She's in the best position, especially with someone like Amy coming back. I feel Danny's going to win this one.

What do you think will happen now that Amy's back and has won HoH?
It's not for vindictive reasons, but I feel Amy puts Roddy and Chiara on the block, not caring which one gets knocked out, not worried about a decoy. She'd be doing it for the game's sake, knowing who her allies are: she puts the two of them up, and it's probably her best move. While the Veto is always out there, there's not so much you can do with it, because a lot of people are afraid to use it for what happens after. I don't think there are many people in this House willing to take a risk on Roddy or Chiara, and go against what is now the majority of the House.

Which HouseGuest would you say is the sexiest?
Jason is clearly the sexiest! Well, okay…Lisa may be the sexiest in the House.

When you and Roddy were talking on the basketball court, Roddy said that this is a game about honestly and decency. What do you say to that?
If you think this is a game about honesty and decency, you will find yourself standing next to me within a week, because it is the exact opposite of honesty and decency. You go into this House knowing that you want 11 people in this House to like you and respect you to the point that they don't get rid of you, but all you can think about is getting rid of them. It is the exact opposite of honor, the exact opposite of decency.

What advice would you give to future BIG BROTHER HouseGuests?
The best advice is to go in there, be flexible in your ideas, but do have a strategy; do play the game. The first four HouseGuests were clearly going nowhere, and that's why they were sent home, although Amy got a chance to come back. I think I would have been gone too if I had just tried to go in there and do nothing. You have to play the game. It is a game: play it; don't let it play you!

Q&A

Why did you want to be on BIG BROTHER?
I'm using Big Brother as a chance to get away and to meet new people whom I know nothing about and who know nothing about me. It's a chance for me to play around a bit, to have fun and to be mean if I have to without getting into trouble.

What strengths do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
I am a great team player who can get along with all types of people. You can't dislike me--you may want to try, but you won't--that will keep me in the house.

What weaknesses do you bring to BIG BROTHER?
Probably the intellectual competitions. I'm not the smartest cookie in the house, but I'm the tastiest! Street smart is a different story than book smart.

What comfort item from home will you miss the most?
My cat Herman. He's the love of my life, my bed buddy and I don't know how I'm going to sleep without him.

What type of news from the outside world will you miss the most?
The radio! I could care less about what's going on outside the House as far as current events go. But God forbid I miss a new good song. That's gonna kill me.

Do you tend to perform better in physical or mental competitions?
Physical competitions. I love being active and physical with everything I do. Mentally, I'm pretty good if it has to do with being creative, but I'm not a book smart girl.

How do you plan to win BIG BROTHER?
Everyone's gonna like me or love to hate me; that alone will keep me in the House. Then I'll just have to select who gets voted off when!

What is your biggest fear as you begin BIG BROTHER?
Being the first person evicted, Not gonna happen, but a little of that fear is there.

What is your motto?
Be happy and love myself first.

POST-GAME CHAT

BB3 Host: Hi Lisa! Thanks for being here, and congrats on being selected by the viewers for this live Chat!

Lisa: Thank you.

BB3 Host: Well we have tons of questions for you, Lisa, so let's get to as many as we can before you have to rejoin the other HouseGuests.

Lisa: OK. It's cool.

Ontario_Homie: If u win, what will u do with the money?
Lisa: Aah. With the money. Good question. I will buy my brother a car, even though now he's going to definitely hold me to it since it's being published. And I have lots of special gifts for lots of special people in my life.

lisaishot: Hey Lisa... would you ever pose for Playboy?
Lisa: Contrary to what I answered to one of the questions that was asked during the Head of Household competition, I don't think so, but you never know.

Amyl: How disappointed in the other three HouseGuests were you when you found out that they took the offer from Julie, which meant you could not talk to your family?
Lisa: I was absolutely devastated. I really thought that the four of us had bonded to a point where the money just wouldn't mean anything when compared to talking with the family, so I was really, really hurt and surprised.

Meems: Lisa, what are your real feelings for Eric, and do you miss him?
Lisa: I miss Eric incredibly so. He is a beautiful, great guy, and I can't wait to be able to hug him again.

Kaitlyn: Did anything ever happen between you and Roddy while he was in the House? If no, were you ever tempted?
Lisa: Wow. I did spend the second night in the House sleeping in the same bed as Roddy, and I guess the temptation was there the first night, but after the first night, no.

salesrep: Why don't you girls test Jason and do a lingerie show for him? Ha ha ha!
Lisa: I would love to give Jason a lingerie show if I knew he would watch, but that poor boy would probably run and lock himself in the bathroom.

evilwoman: Lisa, do you really think you can rely on someone else's alliance at this point or will you have to pull things off on your own?
Lisa: Woah. At this point in the game, yeah, I'm gonna rely on the alliance that Danielle and Jason and I have, but when I make it to the third person in this House, I'm gonna definitely have to stand on my own.

CountDown: At this point in the game, if you left today, what would be your favorite memory of the time in there and your least favorite memory?
Lisa: My favorite memory of being here would be when Eric spelled "Hi" in my peanut butter. My least favorite was when I found out that Chiara and Roddy had stabbed me in the back, especially considering I thought I had such a strong friendship with Chiara.

CountDown: Lisa, you think you could wear one of Jason's shirts one night to give us something to talk about?
Lisa: I will wear that shirt tonight with nothing else on underneath it. I promise.

kerry: What are some of your REAL feelings about the HouseGuests?
Lisa: Chiara: Crude, sometimes over-the-top, and I feel as though she doesn't quite respect the beliefs of others, as far as respecting Jason goes. Danielle: Beautiful, strong, independent, but sometimes a little bit threatening and scary. Roddy: A very strong and intelligent man that has beautiful, beautiful things to say, but unfortunately this House really makes you question how real a person he is. Amy: I think that she, underneath, is a very sad person and, unfortunately, very insecure. I guess for her I just hope that this place will make her realize how beautiful she is.

LisaIsAwesome: Lisa, do you think you have changed your outlook on life at all from your experience in the BB House?
Lisa: 100%. I have opened my eyes a little bit more to the fact that yes, BIG BROTHER 3 is a game, but it takes a special kind of person to play this game, and you can't help but understand that there's real people that play games outside of the House as well.

YouGoLisa: Tell the ladies your secrets on diet and exercise, 'cause you look great.
Lisa: I don't know if you're gonna want to hear this, but before I got into this House I would eat a lot of protein and a lot of water. Now that I'm in this House, I don't know how closely you're watching, but I all I do is stuff my face 24 hours a day with whatever good stuff I want to put in it.

canucklehead: Hi Lisa, what is the most undermining thing you've done in the House so far?
Lisa: I would think that'd have to be trying to become closer friends with Chiara than I was before I found out she'd stabbed me in the back. That was really hard.

sarah: What is the tattoo on your back, and what does it mean to you?
Lisa: My tattoo is a tattoo of wild orchids. Wild orchids are my favorite flower. It's purple because that's my grandmother's favorite color and I knew that would get me in less trouble with my father.

Meems: Lisa, what was your favorite competition? The sponge was the funniest.
Lisa: I'd have to say that my favorite competition was actually the very first one with the slime tank. I just think it was great that all these people were willing to get naked in front of complete and total strangers

nickname: Lisa, is Eric a good smoocher?
Lisa: The first kiss was actually pretty bad. But it got better the more we smooched. A lot better!

Ontario_Homie: Lisa, would u do us all a favor and give Jason a big kiss on the lips and tell him he is a great slave to have around?
Lisa: You know what? I'll give him a big kiss on the lips and then maybe I'll have Amy tell him he's a great slave to have around.

sept: Hello Lisa, I want you to know I am a big fan of yours. It seems like you have kept your integrity throughout most of the game, and I respect that. Is there any one thing in the game that you have done that you would want to change if given the opportunity?
Lisa: Yes. If given the opportunity, I would rather have listened to myself instead of Danielle when it came time to vote for Chiara and to vote for Roddy. I would have liked to give Chiara the two votes that she wanted and to give Roddy one vote, so that he knew that it wasn't personal.

lacycatherine: I think that each week since Eric has left you have become a stronger player. I think that you made a wonderful decision to keep Eric out. You are more focused. Based on that, do you regret your decision?
Lisa: Thank you so much for saying that. It makes me feel so much better. Not having Eric here definitely makes me feel like a stronger player. I only regret my decision because I know my vote wasn't the deciding factor. I know that he wouldn't have gotten back in the House, and I just hope that I didn't betray him by not voting for him.

danielle: When you found out that Chiara voted to evict you, you seemed pretty hurt. Have you forgiven her?
Lisa: I love Chiara outside of the game. I really hope that we can be friends when we get out of here, but inside the House, because what she did for game purposes, I can't forgive her for game purposes.

AlexaRae2: Hey Lisa! Your Diary Room comments on the last show about being suspicious of someone in the House were very interesting. Please tell us, is there anyone in the House right now who has shown their "true colors" to you lately? Thanks a LOT!
Lisa: True colors is a great phrase that we have come up with to describe what happens to people when they show themselves to you, but no other colors have really revealed themselves lately, I think mostly because we have a strong sense of who we are in the House with at this point in the game. It doesn't mean that I don't think there may be another secret alliance out there.

trapper: All the "dissing" you and Dani did yesterday (while Jason and Amy were gone)...do you think that will come back and bite you in the rear?
Lisa: We didn't "dis" anybody, did we? I honestly think there were stronger "dissing" moments in this House than just yesterday. I really think the discussion that Danielle and I did yesterday was really more about memories than about talking bad about people. I hope.

sueh: Lisa, I'm a "Lisa fan" and I'm definitely not male. I think there are a lot of females that are rooting for you, too! You've GOT to win HoH this week!
Lisa: [claps] I know that I have to win HoH this week, and you know what? If I don't, I'll be surprised. I have female fans!

santa: Lisa, are you glad you decided to participate in the BIG BROTHER House Game? What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about trying out for BB4?
Lisa: Anybody who is trying to go for BIG BROTHER 4 has to take advice from BIG BROTHER 3 and expect the unexpected and stay true to yourself. You can't lose sight of that; otherwise, you have nothing else to hold on to. Yes, I'm very glad to be here on BIG BROTHER 3.

LisaFanClubPrez: Lisa HI! I think you're a great role model with looks and personality. Do you think life will ever be the same when you get out of the House?
Lisa: I have a fan club president? I hope not! I would love it if my life changed when I got out of here. It can't get much worse than it was when I got in here.

Eric: Hi Lisa, It's Eric. Do you want me to come to greet you when it's time for you to leave the show. Are we still going to San Francisco?
Lisa: Yes! Please come and get me when it's time for me to leave the show. Yeah, we're going to San Francisco and a lot of other places, I hope. I miss you.

Eric: I miss you and I can't wait to see you!
BB3 Host: Unfortunately, our time with Lisa is up. Lisa, we've had a great time chatting with you, and thanks again for being with us today. Any final comments for the BIG BROTHER fans?

Lisa: Thank you so much for being my fans! You don't understand how unbelievable it is to know that you guys are out there. And thank you for giving me America's Choice, because I was getting a little lonely in here without any outlet to the outside. I'm really glad that you're my outside. Thank you thank you! Goodbye!
